Chris brings to Zibo more than 25 years of experience as a highly effective, strategic business and technology leader. Before founding Zibo, Chris served as CEO of enterprise software company Micro Focus. Prior to that, he was COO of Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where he successfully led the largest corporate separation in history. Previously, Chris spent nearly 15 years in leadership roles at top consulting firms, including KKR and McKinsey, after completing his MBA at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
Chris graduated as a Distinguished Cadet from West Point and served as a U.S. Army Captain. He is an advisor to Commit, a nonprofit focused on helping military veterans find fulfilling careers.
Gregor is a real estate leader and successful serial entrepreneur. He co-founded 1Sharpe Capital, a Bay Area-based investment manager, and is the co-founder and Chairman of Roofstock, an online marketplace for single-family rental homes. Gregor is also the founder of 643 Capital, a real estate private equity firm that has acquired and managed over 4,000 homes across the U.S. He is the co-founder of Dwell Finance, a lender to investors of single-family homes, which was acquired by a unit of Blackstone in 2015.
After graduating from Regis University in Denver, Gregor spent the early part of his career purchasing and developing land and apartments throughout California.
Rob is a finance veteran and serial entrepreneur with over 30 years of real estate and credit experience. In addition to co-founding 1Sharpe Capital (where he serves as Chief Investment Officer) and Dwell Finance with Gregor, Rob was co-founder and CEO of Five Ten Capital, where he acquired and managed 2,000 rental properties. Rob also was a Portfolio Manager at Cerberus Capital Management, leading their effort to become one of the largest owners of single-family homes. Previously, Rob spent more than a decade as Head of Fixed Income at Putnam Investments, where he oversaw $60B in assets and launched the firm’s absolute return and hedge fund strategies.
Rob began his career in the mortgage divisions of Salomon Brothers and Lehman Brothers and holds a bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis.
Sandeep is a product development leader with more than 25 years of experience building and scaling consumer and enterprise products for both large public corporations and emerging startups. Prior to Zibo, Sandeep was SVP of Products & Engineering at Roostify, where he built out a consumer-centric home lending platform used by Chase, Guild Mortgage and HSBC. Previously, he held leadership positions at a number of Bay Area technology companies. Sandeep started his career at Sun Microsystems, where he architected a software platform to design microprocessors.
Sandeep serves as an advisor to several startups, including Roostify, Enmo Technologies and Skala.
Louis brings more than 20 years of experience in product, marketing, and strategy roles across the technology industry. He joins Zibo from SOLD.com, a data-driven home selling marketplace, where he was VP of Product and UX. Previously, Louis was co-GM of the Homes business unit at Ten-X, a commercial real estate transaction platform. Prior to that, he spent more than ten years at eBay, where his teams drove over $1B in gross merchandise volume growth across search, operations, and buyer experience initiatives. Louis has also held product marketing and business development roles at Ingenio.com and Oracle.
Louis holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
Greg joins Zibo after Airbnb, where he most recently led Global Home Experience Operations for the Lux business. Previously, Greg led product strategy and operations for the launch of Airbnb Plus. Prior to Airbnb, Greg was CEO and co-founder of RentMethod, a residential leasing platform.
Greg started his career as an investment banking analyst at Robert W. Baird and holds a bachelor’s degree from Marquette University.
In addition to advising Zibo, Tim is the President of Blend, a consumer lending platform. Prior to that, Tim was President and CEO of Fannie Mae, where under his leadership the company returned to sustained profitability, delivered more than $167 billion in dividends to taxpayers, and introduced new technologies to the housing finance system. Previously, Tim served as General Counsel of Bank of America and held senior roles at Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse First Boston, and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.
Tim serves on the Board of LendingClub, the largest online marketplace lender, and SAIC, a technology integrator for the civilian, defense and national security agencies of the federal government. He is a graduate of Cornell University and the New York University School of Law.
Alex is an entrepreneur and advisor with more than 15 years of experience in the Fintech and financial services space. Prior to Zibo, he helped incubate and lead Credit Solutions at Scala, a Mexican home improvement startup backed by Stanley Black & Decker. Alex also helped launch and served as CFO of Validity Finance, a commercial litigation finance company backed by TowerBrook Capital Partners. Previously, he was the founder and CEO of Pango Credit, an affordable consumer credit startup.
Alex began his career working in investment banking at Credit Suisse, where he focused on M&A and capital markets transactions in the financial services and fintech space. He holds a B.S. from Boston University.
